Muhammad Saiduzzaman came to the United States from Bangladesh shortly after he finished high school to study engineering and later business. Today Saiduzzaman serves as the director of operations for a multi-national electronics manufacturing company based in Lake Bluff.
When Saiduzzaman finished college and began his professional life and family, he was still hungry for something more. During this quest, he rediscovered his Muslim faith and began using its message of giving back to the community in action.

Saiduzzaman and a group of other leaders and supporters bought an abandoned church that had sat vacant for years on Brown Avenue, and they are currently in the process of finishing construction.
"We are small. We know that," said Saiduzzaman. "Within the limited resources we try to give back to the community."
