Man Arrested for Armed Robbery of Jimmy John's

David Hamros of Chicago has been arrested after robbing the restaurant at gun point in April.

A Chicago man has been arrested for robbing Wilmette's Jimmy Johns location at gun-point in April, police reports state. 

David Hamros, 38, of Chicago was arrested for the incident on July 10. Reports state that police received intelligence information from the Downers Grove Police Department and Dupage Metropolitan Enforcement Group concerning a possible suspect in the robbery. After being identified in a line-up, Hamros admitted to the robbery.

On April 11 around 9 p.m., Wilmette Police responded to a call of armed robbery at Jimmy John's at 3520 Lake Ave. The three employees stated that an unknown male came into the store as they were closing. He displayed a gun and took $1029.
