Photo of the Day: Wilmette Police Lead Holiday Parade
The Holiday Parade got a friendly police escort.
The Wilmette Chamber of Commerce’s annual Holiday Parade marched through the village Saturday.
The parade began at the CTA parking lot near the Linden train station and continued west until reaching the Village Center, located in the 1200 block of Central Avenue.
In this photo, a Wilmette Police Department escort enters the final leg of the parade, leading the Coast Guard Honor Guard into the Village Center.
