Police: iPhone Stolen by Reaching Through Open Sunroof

The following arrest information was provided by the Wilmette Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Burglary to Garage
A victim on the 200 block of Broadway Ave. reported that between June 11 and 12, an unknown subject(s) entered the resident's unlocked garaged and went through the unlocked vehicle that was parked in the garage, police reports state. The subject(s) did not take any items of value from the garage.  It appears that the subject took personal papers and items from the glove box.

Auto Burglary
A resident on the 600 block of Central Ave. reported that between 12:50 PM and 1:10 PM, an unknown offender took his iPhone from the vehicle by reaching through the open sunroof, police reports state.  The phone was last located at the  Main and Lehigh in Morton Grove.

Fraud
Between May 28 and June 10, the husband of a victim on the 3000 block of Indianwood Rd. accessed her personal bank account in Winnetka without her permission and made 4 payments to his debtors, police reports state. It appears that the payment was done by telephone.

Criminal Damage to Property
The owner of The Bottle Shop at 1148 Central Ave. reported that the A/C unit was damaged for the second time by an unknown subject(s), police reports state.
