Police: Woman Charged with Driving While on Drugs

The following arrest information was provided by the Wilmette Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Theft
A victim on the 900 block of Greenleaf Ave. reported that his unlocked bike was stolen from the front yard of a friend, police reports state. 

Theft
A victim reported that her locked bike was removed from the CTA bike racks at 339 Linden Ave., police reports state. 

Theft
A known customer took three pairs of shoes from Encore and More (1107 Central Ave.) without paying, police reports state. 

Possession of Cannabis
Dodie O'Keefe, 22, of Winnetka received a local ordinance ticket for possession of cannabis, police reports state. O'Keefe was pulled over on the 1000 block of Linden Ave. on June 21. 

Driving Under the Influence of Drugs
Cindy L. Rapoport, 54, of Glenview is being charged with driving under the influence of drugs, according to Wilmette Police reports. Rapports was arrested following a minor vehicle collision on the 100 block of Skokie Blvd. on June 20. Felony charges for a third DUI were not approved pending lab results. 

Violation of Order of Protection
A resident on the 700 block of 11th St. was the victim of a home invasion last July. Michael Bishop, 50, who is out on bond, made phone contact with the victim on June 20, police reports state. 

Theft
A taxi cab driver reported that his fare left the cab after refusing to pay, police reports state. The incident occurred on the 400 block of Ridge Rd. on June 19 The fare was unable to be located. 

Theft
A taxi driver reported that three subjects jumped out of his cab and fled without paying on the 1600 block of Highland Ave., police reports state. The incident happened on June 19.
