Burglary to Auto
On July 13, an unknown offender burglarized an Evanston resident's vehicle that was parked at the Centennial Pool. Police reports state that the victim put her purse in the back of the vehicle. She locked and set the alarm on the car, and when she returned the right wear window of the vehicle was broken and her purse was missing.
Theft
Between July 12 and July 13, an unknown offender took an iPhone from the patio of a backyard on the 1000 block of Manor Dr., police reports state.
Traffic Offenses
Osmar Cristino, 30, of Chicago is being charged with driving with an expired driver's license for more than a year, police reports state. He was pulled over on the 3400 block of Lake Ave. on July 14.
Driving Under the Influence
Johnny Cruz, 51, of Chicago is being charged with driving under the influence, Wilmette Police reports state. Cruz was pulled over on the 300 block of 15th St on July 14. He failed field sobriety tests and refused a breath test.
Driving Under the Influence
Katherine Golden, 20, of Sonoma, California is being charged with driving under the influence, police reports state. The incident occurred on July 14 on the 500 block of Sheridan Ave. Golden was found parked on the parkway of the road. Police located open alcohol containers and cannabis in the vehicle.
