Two More Arrested in Coast Guard Burglary

Two more men were arrested in connection to a July 3 burglary of the Wilmette Coast Guard.

Two more men have been arrested in connection to a burglary at the Wilmette Coast Guard that occurred on July 3, Wilmette Police reports state. 

Brandon Glab, 21, of Willowbrook and Ross Swedowski, 20, of Chicago were arrested on July 17 in connection with the burglary. Andrew Speropoulos, 21, of Darien was arrested earlier this month concerning the same burglary.

The Coast Guard reported to police that someone entered the John Scott auxiliary boat at the Wilmette Coast Guard Station between July 2 and July 3. Electronic equipment, including a GPS, depth finder, a navigation system, tools and other items were removed. The recovered items were processed, photographed and returned to the Coast Guard.

Glab and Swedowski were held in the Wilmette Police Department lock-up and transported to a bond hearing. Their court date is set for July 23.
