72nd Annual Premier North Shore Antiques Show & Holiday Boutique

The Woman’s Club of Wilmette has chosen the Wilmette Junior High (WJHS) PTO Science Fund as one of the beneficiaries of its upcoming antiques show and holiday boutique on December 7th and 8th.

For every ticket sold to the show, the club will donate $1 to the fund. This contribution is one of many that the club has made to fulfill its mission to provide support to youth, victims of domestic violence, and to public service organizations. The WJHS PTO will use the funds to enrich the new science curriculum with items such as weather bug kits which will allow students to predict weather patterns from around the country, backpack water labs for testing water quality, and technology carts which will give students the ability to send and to receive lab reports and actively follow live data collection.

"The Wilmette Junior High Science Fund began as a joint effort between the District 39 Education Foundation and the PTO to bring innovative programs and technology to the new science facility at the Wilmette Junior High. The students and parents of District 39 appreciate the support of the Woman's Club," says WJHS PTO member, Margaret Tilson.
