Antiques + Modernism Winnetka Show 2013 Preview Party

The Woman’s Board of Winnetka Community House proudly presents the Antiques + Modernism Winnetka Show. A fusion of the Midwest's highly regarded, long-running Winnetka Antiques Show and Modernism Show, this spectacular style and design event has become a standing tradition in Winnetka and on the North Shore.

Antiques + Modernism Winnetka commences with a Preview Party featuring a cocktail buffet reception on Thursday, October 17 at Winnetka Community House from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Admission is $125 if purchased in advance and $150 if purchased at the door. Preview Party tickets include a three-day pass to the show, which runs throughout the weekend: Friday, October 18 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Saturday, October 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and Sunday, October 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Three-day admission is $15 if purchased in advance and $20 if purchased at the door.

The combined event will encompass periods of design ranging from the 17th century to the mid 20th century. Esteemed dealers from across the country will showcase fine examples of American, British, French and Asian antiques, as well as pieces from the Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Mid-Century design movements. The exhibition and sale will offer furniture, silver, ceramics, jewelry, garden antiques, lighting, rugs, textiles, fine and folk art, architectural artifacts and even more.
