Chicago Philharmonic Society's Romantic Impulse Concert

At NSSC, Northfield Location: 

Beethoven and Beyond

The second concert (1st concert was held in January) features “Quartet in E flat Major for Piano,Violin, Clarinet and Cello, Op. 1” by Walter Rabl, “Trio in B flat Major, Op. 11” by Ludwig van Beethoven, and “Quartet in E flat Major for Piano, Violin, Clarinet, and Cello” by Peter Schickele.  Guest CPS musicians are Jennifer Cappelli (violin), Gene Collerd (clarinet), Paula Kosower (cello) and Ivana Bukvich (piano).

A reception will follow.  To purchase tickets, call 847-784-6030.  Cost is $19 for NSSC members; $25 for non-members.  Free for students 18 years or younger. 

Concert 3: Sunday, March 16, 2014 at 3 p.m, Take Five: Mozart and Brahms at the North Shore Senior Center.
