DON’T MISS COMEDY AT THE METTE IN DECEMBER The critically acclaimed monthly stand-up comedy series rings in December with Dan Telfer, a lugubrious sprite who has been performing stand up in Chicago since 1996. Appearing in some of the leading comedy festivals nationally and internationally, Dan is also known for his writing skills for Paste Magazine, The Onion and the A.V. Club. His comedy has been seen at the Chicago Just for Laughs Festival “Best of the Fest” show, the Montreal Just for Laughs Festival’s “Talk of the Fest” show and the New Faces of Comedy showcases at both festivals. His stand up routine “The Best Dinosaur” became a runaway viral video hit. Comedy at the Mette is offered on the second Saturday of each month and, in partnership with Chicago Underground Comedy, offers what the Chicago Tribune called “one of the hottest shows in town.”
Dan Telfer will appear on Saturday, December 8th at 9pm at the theatre, 1122 Central Ave, Wilmette.
