Two Opportunities to Appeal Your Property Tax Assessment for Northfield Township Taxpayers

Cook County Board of Review Commissioner Dan Patlak is announcing two property tax appeal seminars that will be offered to taxpayers seeking to appeal their 2012 property tax assessments.


The seminars include a presentation by Commissioner Dan Patlak explaining how property taxes are calculated and the appeal procedure of the Board of Review. Before the end of the evening, taxpayers will have an opportunity to work with staff from the Board of Review to address their specific questions and concerns.


This event is free to the public and there is no fee to appeal at the Board of Review.

Taxpayers are asked to bring a copy of their most recent tax bill.

Appeal forms also may be picked up at the Board of Review located at 118 N. Clark Street, Room 601 in Chicago or at the Skokie Courthouse located at 5600 Orchard Road.


Northfield Township is open for appeal until Tuesday, December 18, 2012.
