Lerner and Loewe: The Most "Loverly" Music

The unlikely pairing of Frederick Loewe, a Viennese musician, and Alan Jay Lerner, a dapper New Yorker, dominated the musical stage of the 1950s. Their musicals, including My Fair Lady, Brigadoon and Camelot, mixed social commentary with fantasy. This program by Susan Benjamin demonstrates how lovely Lerner and Loewe's musicals are to experience - even today.
