North Lakefront Walking Tour

Join Terry Porter, retired Director of the Wilmette Park District, and Kathy Hussey-Arntson, Museum Director, for a fun morning walk along Wilmette's northerly lakefront. The walk will focus on the history of places like Wallace Bowl, Elmwood Avenue Dunes, Michigan Shores Club, homes along Michigan Avenue, and Langdon Park. Reserve your spot soon, as space is limited.





About the Museum

The Wilmette Historical Museum is dedicated to exploring, preserving, and sharing the lively history of the Wilmette and its surroundings on the North Shore of Chicago. Located in a beautiful 1896 landmark building at 609 Ridge Road in Wilmette, the Museum is operated by the Wilmette Historical Society, a volunteer organization, and by the Village of Wilmette. Museum hours are Sunday through Thursday, 1:00 - 4:30 p.m. For more information, visit wilmettehistory.org.
