Ten Chimneys (NSSC Day Trip)

This Wisconsin summer home of Broadway theater legends Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne is located minutes from Milwaukee in Genesee Depot. Almost all of the estate’s enchantingly personal décor and collections are intact and unchanged since the Lunts first assembled them in the 1930s and 1940s. Noel Coward, Sir Lawrence Olivier, Helen Hayes, Katherine Hepburn and Carol Channing were among their frequent guests. The estate tour will include the three main buildings and the grounds. There will be a significant amount of standing, stair climbing and walking on uneven terrain. Lunch will be at the Union Restaurant – charming, great food. Fee includes tour, lunch and deluxe motorcoach. Departs from our Northfield location.

Friday,       8/1,    8:30am - 5:30pm

The cost is $99 member; $120 non-member.  Call 847/784-6030 to register. Website www.nssc.org.
