Frida Kahlo created highly imaginative paintings that expressed the passion, struggle, and pain of her life. This program provides historical context for Kahlo's art and artistic productions. The lecture will examine the relationship between various events in Kahlo's life and her powerful artwork, including numerous self-portraits.
