Winnetka Holiday Artisan Fair

Select from an impressive array of hand-crafted gifts at the Winnetka Holiday Artisan Fair from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3 and 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, at the Winnetka Community House, 620 Lincoln Avenue, Winnetka, and support the fight to End Polio Now and the Wilmette Harbor Rotary club charitable foundation.

This charity event, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Wilmette Harbor, expects more than 80 local artisans, quality crafters and fair trade vendors to offer unique wares that include sun-printed silk scarves, wire-wrapped semiprecious gems, wearable works of dichroic glass, hand-knit infant clothing, “button bling,’ and much, much more.

“This is our third year and the Winnetka Holiday Artisan Fair is quickly becoming one of the go-to events for holiday shoppers,” said Artisan Fair organizer Carol Wells. “Rather than fighting traffic downtown, you can enjoy a unique, budget-pleasing shopping experience in the heart of the North Shore with free parking,” she said. “Best of all, you are supporting Rotary’s many community grants while you shop.”

The fair's net proceeds from vendor fees benefit Rotary International’s End Polio Now initiative and the Wilmette Harbor Rotary’s charitable foundation’s community grant awards. End Polio Now protects children around the world with polio vaccines to globally eradicate polio. Wilmette Harbor Rotary awards community grants annually to local nonprofit organizations.
