Reverse prospecting can be used in multiple ways. A seller's Real Estate Agent can use reverse prospecting information provided by the Multiple Listing Service to find buyers based on criteria from a seller's listing. A report will be generated which will show a list of Real Estate Brokers that have set up searches for their buyers and have allowed reverse prospecting on those searches. These potential buyers have searches that match the features indicated in the seller's listing. Using this information, the seller's Agent can contact targeted potential buyers for their property through the buyer's Real Estate Agent.
