Woman's Club of Evanston Invites Prospective Members
If you are a woman wanting to connect to and serve your community
while making new friends and having fun, The Woman’s Club of Evanston would
like to welcome you to our club. Women
of all ages and backgrounds are invited to attend our upcoming Prospective
Members’ Evening on Tuesday, July 10th,
at 7:00 p.m. in our historic clubhouse. Come learn more about our rich
history, social functions and philanthropic endeavors. At the meeting you will meet new and existing
members who will share their experiences firsthand.
The Woman’s Club of Evanston (WCE) is a nonprofit organization
comprised of more than 400 dynamic women from the North Shore and beyond,
dedicated to community service, philanthropic work and friendship. Each year
the club provides more than 5,000 hours of volunteer time to local community
projects. Annual events include Fairy
Tale Trail, Cornucopia Gift Fair, Dreams Delivered Prom Boutique and Benefit
Show. The WCE contributes more than $100,000
annually to local non-profit organizations.
The WCE is located at 1702 Chicago Ave. in Evanston. Our building
is handicap-accessible. Metered street and garage parking are conveniently
located adjacent to and across the street from the clubhouse.
