· Attend demonstrations on a wide variety of environmental topics including cooking demonstrations by Farmhouse Restaurant of Evanston.

· Examine the latest electric and hybrid cars and the newest hybrid electric commuter bikes. There will be eight of the latest clean, green cars on display!
· See an actual solar system at work and learn how you can harvest the sun.
· Find tips about growing your own food, reducing your home energy use, sustainable landscaping and making smart water choices.
· Don't miss the expanded interactive "Eco-Zone" on the lower level where you can meet the Plastic Bag Monster, learn where our water goes, test the latest in LED bulbs, explore the Heller Nature Center and Peggy Notebaert Museum’s exhibits, start your very own vegetable seedling, learn how to green your house and kitchen and much more.
· Be sure to spend some time in the “Talk it Up: Conversations about Water” with area policy makers and experts. Help develop community solutions for stormwater management.
· Relax and taste the wares of local restaurants in the complimentary Go Green Café.
· Visit school, park district, library and community exhibits. Enjoy library story time with your youngsters.
· Learn more about food, energy, water, transportation and lawn & garden issues and how your choices can positively impact climate change.
Refreshments and fun activities for all ages.
Bring friends and family: Take home a short list of important things you can easily do to help the environment and prevent climate change.
Recycling Opportunity: Drop off is from 12:00pm-4:00pm at Central School, 910 Central School. Bring your textiles, shoes, bicycles, batteries, electronics and Styrofoam for recycling.
