Current Events Roundtable

  • Why Go?: Current Events Roundtable is the place to enjoy your second cup of coffee along with a roundup on the leading national, international and local news of the day.  The group, moderated by Deerfield resident Don Levinthal, covers all points on the political spectrum.  Newcomers are always welcome.

58th Annual Church of the Holy Comforter Housewalk and Boutique

  • Where: Church of the Holy Comforter, 222 Kenilworth Ave., Kenilworth
  • Why Go?: Four architecturally stunning and beautifully appointed North Shore homes will be featured, including one "Nantucket on the North Shore" lakefront beauty. 100 percent of the day’s proceeds will go to local and global charities. Each home will be styled with table settings compliments of Peachtree Place in Northfield and florals by simply flowers, The Grand, Barbara Devlin and Jim Yonke.

ADHD Support Group

  • When: Wednesday, October 3, 2012, 7:00 pm
  • Where: Wilmette Public Library, 1242 Wilmette Ave, Wilmette
  • Why Go?: Attend an informal, non-judgmental forum to discuss ADHD.  Learn and share strategies and resources, or come just to listen.  The facilitator, Dale Davison, is a board certified ADHD coach and consultant.
  • Pricing: Free

Regina Dominican Golf Outing

  • Where: 800 Shermer Rd, Glenview
  • Why Go?: The Regina Dominican Booster Club is hosting a fun day at the Glenview Park Golf Club to benefit the athletic program. Registration includes 18 holes of golf with a cart and a buffet dinner. Regina maintains the largest all-girl athletic program in the State of Illinois with over 60 percent of students participating in athletics.
