In October, Wilmette had 27 single family homes closed which is a 13% increase over October of 2012. The median sale price was $565,000 and the average market time was 93 days. October also saw 26 Wilmette homes go under contract. Interest rates ticked down in October to about 4% on a 30 year loan.
