Is What You See - What You Get?

The quality of the food we are eating has changed and it seems as though it is having a direct impact on our health.

What's is in that box?

What's in that can?

What’s under that shrink wrap?

What’s in that bottle?

Are you eating cereal or genetically modified corn, enriched with vitamins and minerals, preserved with BHA and BHT and containing the first ingredient listed as sugar?

Are you eating ground beef or mass farm raised cattle injected with growth hormones, antibiotics, bleached and filled with pink slime?

Are you eating vegetables and fruits or tomatoes picked before maturation, sprayed with chemicals and shipped from a far?

Is the milk processed and packaged at your local grocers anything like it was when Grandma directly milked it from the cow?

Are the grains that we are eating the same as they originated?

You get the picture. The quality of the food we are eating has changed and it seems as though it is having a direct impact on our health.

Are we eating what nature provided or just a version of it?

Are our bodies able to assimilate food like substances?

Next time you purchase food, begin to think about what it is you are buying.  Read the label.  What is it that you are putting into your body?

Food for thought.
