New Year, Big Things at Wilmette Theatre
The Wilmette Theatre is in for an exciting New Year and we want to bring the community along with us. Be a part of the theatre and support this lovely and historical gem.
The Wilmette Theatre started the new year with a big bang! We held a private screening of a short film, "Picture Paris," starrring Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Elaine from "Seinfeld," Christine from "New Adventures of Old Christine" and currently working on a new HBO series) and written and directed by her screenwriter/producer husband Brad Hall. Both were in attendance, along with family and friends enjoying popcorn and candy on a sunny, beautiful New Year's Day 2012.
Everyone had a great time at the almost 100 year old theatre, and Julia and Brad filmed a short promo supporting the Wilmette Theatre as part of a fundraising campaign beginning this year.
