Sometimes you read an obituary of a stranger and really wish you'd gotten a chance to meet that person.
The Chicago Tribune obituary of Kenilworth resident Frances Coleman Powell, who died last month at 102, is one of those.
According to the article, Powell and her husband, Daniel, built their first home in Kenilworth in 1936. During her 60 year marriage, they traveled extensively around the world, including to Iraq and Afghanistan. Powell was a member of the Kenilworth Home and Garden Club and the Kenilworth School Board.
