103-year-old Wilmette Woman Dies

Mari W. Ryan was born Sept. 22, 1909. Visitation and prayer services will be held Monday.

Mari W. Ryan, 103, of Wilmette, formerly of Northfield and Vero Beach, Florida, passed away Wednesday in her home.

She was born in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey, as one of six children and moved to Illinois in 1955 with her late husband, John P. Ryan. Mari was the daughter of the late Charles C. Wickstead and the late Minnie M. Goller Wickstead.

Mari is survived by her children Mari (Joel) Dysart and John P. Jr. (Nancy) Ryan; six grandchildren Patricia (John) Heneghan, Joan (Vince) Tedeschi, Bob (Terese) Dysart, Jay (John P. III) Ryan (Diana Sudyka), Sally (Kent) Kolbe, Michael Ryan (Loralee Stevens) and 12 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from fr 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd., Skokie.

Interment Private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Midwest Palliative & Hospice CareCenter, 2050 Claire Ct., Glenview.
