Obituary: Barbara Fink

Fink, 76, lived in Wilmette and owned the Mixed Bag of Evanston and Winnetka.

September 20, 1936 - December 18, 2012

Barbara Fink passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18 at the age of 76.

Born in Milwaukee to the late Leo and Jean Dubin, Barbara raised her family in Wilmette.

She will be missed and always remembered by her husband Judge Howard Fink, her sons Michael (Melanie) Fink of Mercer Island, Washington and Matthew (Wendy) Fink of Evanston, her grandchildren Morgan, Max, Lauren, Katelyn and Kristen, her twin sister Beverly Gilbert, her aunt Silvia Schnoll, her nephews Richard and Thomas Fink, her nieces Mindy and Linda Gilbert, her grandniece Erin Fink, her grandnephew Peter Fink, her sister- in-law Nellie Fink and brothers-in-law Sheldon Fink and the late Norman Gilbert and many friends.

Barbara was the owner of the Mixed Bag of Evanston and Winnetka.

She received immense joy from her canine family Licker, Kiddles and Winston and is survived by Comet, Ruby and Louie.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Chicago Jewish Funerals Chapel, 8851 Skokie Blvd. (at Niles Center Road), Skokie. Interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory can be made to The Buddy Foundation, 65 West Seegers Rd., Arlington Heights.
