Wilmette Obituary: Richard Saigh, Sr, 85

Richard J. Saigh, Sr., age 85 of Wilmette. Beloved husband of Mary Lu (nee Knuerr); loving father of Mark (Maria), Elizabeth (Constant DeMattia) and the late Richard and Peter Saigh; fond grandfather of Olivia, Mia and Ava DeMattia; dear brother of Virginia (John) Walther, Mary (the late Joseph) O’Donnell and the late Philip (Mary T.) Saigh; uncle of many nieces and nephews. 

Richard was an avid golfer and longtime member of Evanston Golf Club. Graduate of St. Ignatius High School and Loyola University. Richard worked in advertising before becoming a Trader on the CBOE. 

In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Maryville Academy, 1150 North River Road, Des Plaines, IL 60016 would be appreciated.
