Evanston Man Arrested For Using Stolen Credit Card

Delreiss A. Rogers-Williams, of Dobson St. in Evanston, was charged with forgery and taken to bond court May 12 following a Wilmette police investigation into auto burglaries.

Six unlocked vehicles were burglarized on the east side of Wilmette on April 27. Items stolen included cash, CDs and credit cards.

Police said they found Rogers-Williams used a credit card taken from one of the victim’s vehicle numerous times in Chicago and Evanston. He was charged with forgery and fraudulent use of the credit card.

Rogers-Williams was arrested earlier this year in connection with another spree of overnight auto burglaries in Wilmette, according to Wilmette police.
