Five Bikes Stolen in Wilmette

The following arrest information was supplied by the Wilmette Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Burglary to Garage
A victim on the 200 block of Central Park reported that a detached garage was entered through an unlocked service door and a bicycle was taken, police reports state. The incident occurred between June 28 and July 12. 

Burglary to Motor Vehicle
An unlocked vehicle at Gillson Park was reportedly entered and the victim's purse was removed, police reports state. The incident occurred on July 18. 

Theft

An unsecured bicycle was taken from Walker Bros. at 153 Green Bay Rd. while the victim was having breakfast on July 19. 

Stolen Auto Recovery

A Toyota Sequoia stolen on July 15 from the 1000 block of Timber Ln. was recovered on Evanston's west side on the 1100 block of McDaniel. The vehicle was towed to the Wilmette Police station for processing.

A victim on the 200 block of 16th St. returned home on July 19 to find a broken window pane in the front entry door, police reports state. 

Theft

A victim reported that on June 28, he locked his bike at the bike rack at the CTA station. When he returned, the bike and lock were taken by an unknown offender(s). 

Theft

A homeowner on the 1100 block of Elmwood Ave. reported that he left his bike in the alley by his garage on July 20. When he returned to retrieve the bike, it was missing.
