Kenilworth Blotter: Lost Rings and Five Cases of Identity Theft

Lost property
A Winnetka resident said that she placed three rings valued at $138,000 in the pocket of her jacket when leaving a business in the 400 block of Green Bay Road. Later that day she discovered the rings were no longer there. They were lost between 10:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 17, though the location is unknown.

A resident of the 500 block of Brier Street reported fraudulent bank account activity occurred between Nov. 14 and Nov. 28.
A fraudulent tax report was filed in October using the information of a resident of the 100 block of Oxford Road.
