Kenilworth Blotter: Sign Theft, Underage Possession of Alcohol, Cannabis

Possession of cannabis

Three juveniles were issued village citations for possession of cannabis, tobacco and alcohol on May 25 following a minor traffic offence in the 300 block of Kenilworth Avenue.

Nadia Al-Mutaira, 29, 1116 Davis St., Evanston, was issued a village citation for possession of cannabis on May 26 following a minor traffic offence.

Sign theft

A Winnetka juvenile was issued a village citation for theft after someone reported seeing several teens take the “Kenilworth Terrace” sign off the parkway at Ridge Road and Kenilworth Terrace. Kenilworth police was able to locate the teen’s vehicle with a license plate reported by the witness. The sign was later recovered.

Criminal damage

Spray paint was discovered on the rear of a garage in the 600 block of Abbotsford Road on May 21.
