Engagement Ring Missing

A resident in the 200 block of Cumnor Road reported April 19 that her 1.4 ct diamond engagement ring, valued at $10,500, was missing from her home. The resident said she discovered the ring was missing on February 12.

Underage Drinking

A resident in the 700 block of Cummings Avenue was issued a Village Ordinance citation for hosting an underage drinking party April 20. Eight juveniles were turned over to their parents for underage drinking.

Theft

An address sign in a concrete base was stolen sometime between April 14 and 16 in the 500 block of Sheridan Road.

Fraud

A resident in the 200 block of Woodstock Road reported that a fraudulent tax return was filed using the resident’s personal information.

A resident in the 300 block of Melrose Avenue reported fraudulent activity on her bank account on April 22.

Impersonation

A resident in the 400 block of Brier Street reported receiving a phone call April 19 from a women claiming she was a relative in need of financial help. The caller terminated the call upon further questioning.

Cable Lines Cut

A worker at a business in the 500 block of Park Drive reported that her cable and telephone service was not working on April 21. Further investigation revealed that the cable lines behind the business were cut. The incident occurred between April 20 and 21.
