Theft
A woman living in the 300 block of Abbotsford Road reported on Friday, Sept. 21 at 11:38 a.m. that she discovered jewelry missing from her home, police reported. The woman reportedly told police she did not know when the valuables had been taken. No valuation estimate or description of the missing jewelry was provided.

Mariusz Bajkowski, 30, of 663 Darien Ct., Hoffman Estates, was charged Sept. 21 with driving with a suspended driver’s license during an investigation following a traffic accident in the 600 block of Wayland Avenue, police reported. He was issued a Oct. 24 court date in Skokie.
