Multiple Cases of Tire Slashing in Wilmette

The following arrest information was provided by the Wilmette Police Department. When an arrest is mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Criminal Damage

A resident on the 400 block of Lavernge Ave. reported that between March 31 and April 1, an unknown suspect(s) punctured two tires on his vehicle, police reports state. 

Driving With a Suspended License

Keith D. Kuykendall, 35, of Evanston is being charged with driving with a suspended license, according to police reports. He was released on an I-Bond. The incident occurred on the 100 block of Green Bay Rd. on April 2. 

Non-Residential Burglary

A homeowner on the 1400 block of Gregory Ave. reported that the unlocked garage was entered and two bikes were taken, according to Wilmette Police reports. Two bikes and U.S. cash was taken. 

Criminal Damage

A resident on the 300 block of Frontage Rd. reported that someone cut all four tires when his car was parked outside between April 2 and April 3, police reports state. 

Burglary to Auto

A resident on the 700 block of Laurel Ave. heard a noise coming from the driveway at 1:41 a.m. on April 5. The resident observed a subject entering the vehicle parked in the driveway. The resident believed it was his father and called out to the subject who walked to the street and entered a blue vehicle with another subject sitting in the driver's seat, reports state. The car left. 

Fraud

A resident on the 1100 block of Ridge Rd. reported that an unknown offender(s) made multiple transactions with his debit card information without his permission, police reports state. The charges occurred in different locations in the Chicago area between March 30 and March 31. There is video from a Citgo station in Chicago that has been saved of a possible suspect. 

Criminal Damage

A caretaker for the Woman's Club on 930 Greenleaf Road reported that between 8 p.m. on April 3 and 7:30 a.m. on April 4, an unknown offender(s) broke the spotlight shining on the Woman's Club sign, police reports state. There have been several reports int he past for similar incidents. 

Warrant Arrest

Zev Gold, 26, of Skokie was arrested on the 400 block of Sheridan Rd. on April 4 for an outstanding warrant in DeKalb County, Wilmette Police reports state. The subject posted bond on the warrant and was released from custody.
