Police: 14-Year-Old Cited for Shooting Air Gun at Vehicle

The following arrest information was supplied by the Wilmette Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Theft
Officers responded to a call at Jewel Foods for a theft in progress on July 29, police reports state. Responding officers found that the offender(s) had already left the scene upon their arrival. One employee observed the offender leave with a bottle of alcohol without paying for the item. Another employee was able to supply the street name of the offender and the full name of the driver of the vehicle. 

Theft
A victim reported that between July 26 and July 29, an unknown offender(s) removed her unlocked bike from the bike rack at Panera Bread, police reports state. 

Disorderly Conduct
A Chicago resident reported that while sitting in the parking lot on the 400 block of Skokie Ct. on July 29, his vehicle was shot by a 14-year-old with an Air Soft gun. The 14-year-old admitted to the damage and was issued a local ordinance charge for disorderly conduct for the damage and discharge of an Air Soft gun. 

Criminal Damage
A custodian from Wilmette Jr. High reported that an unknown offender(s) spray painted graffiti on the south wall overnight, between August 1 and August 2, police reports state.

A victim employed on the 400 block of 3rd St. reported that her passenger side windshield of her vehicle was damaged on July 19, police reports state. 

Criminal Damage
A resident on the 1300 block of Sheridan Rd. reported that on August 2, an unknown offender(s) used Silly String to draw a lewd shape on her garage door. The residue left a mark on her garage door and it will have to be painted. 

Theft
Evgeniy Barzinsky, 53, of Schaumburg received a local ordinance citation advising her not to return to Carson's, according to police reports. Police received a call on July 2 from Loss Prevention at the store regarding Barzinsky, whom they had just stopped for stealing a $50 pair of sunglasses.

Lamprini Nicolaou, 41, of Evanston received a local ordinance citation advising her not to return to Carson's, according to police reports. Police received a call on July 2 from Loss Prevention at the store regarding Barzinsky, whom they had just stopped for stealing.
