Police: Junior High Student Throws Object at Car from Bus

The following arrest information was provided by the Wilmette Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

  Possession of Cannabis
A 17-year-old male from Wilmette and a 16-year-old female from Evanston received local ordinance citations for possession of cannabis on Sept. 15. Officers found the two after responding to a call of a suspicious auto parked in the dead-end alley on the 100 block of Laurel Ave. The officer located the two subjects inside.

Theft
A wallet containing approximately $215 was reported missing from Piero's Pizza on Sept. 15.

Fraud
A victim on the 1600 block of Elmwood Ave. reported that between Sept. 12 and Sept. 13, an unknown offender(s) gained access to her American Express account and made about $4300 in fraudulent purchases, reports state.

Burglary to Car
A victim on the 100 block of Millbrook reported that between Sept. 16 and Sept. 17, an unknown offender rummaged through both of her vehicles which were parked, unlocked, on her driveway. Food items were taken out of one of the SUVs, and nothing was taken from the second, although there was a strong odor of cigarette smoke detected.

Theft
A victim on the 700 block of 12th St. reported that between July 11 and Sept. 11, an unknown offender(s) stole the car cover off of her 1991 Bentley which was being stored in the garage, reports state.

Criminal Damage
A victim reported that while driving next to a Wilmette Junior High bus at the intersection of Wilmette and Illinois on Sept. 16, an unknown student threw an unknown object out of the bus window, which struck the passenger door of her car.

Identity Theft
A victim on the 200 block of Hibbard Rd. reported to police that he was contacted by a bank representative of a credit card company on Sept. 17, informing him that an unknown offender had used his personal information to open various store accounts.

Traffic Arrest
Tytiana Brumley, 20, of Chicago is being charged with driving without a valid license, police reports state. She was stopped on the 1200 block of Lake Ave. on Sept. 17.
