Police: Two Men Charged With Possession of Heroin

Heroin has been an increasing concern in Wilmette throughout the past three years.

Wilmette Police arrested two men for possession of heroin on August 8, according to police reports. 

David Gordon, 41, of Northbrook and Joshua Truesdale, 27, of Glenview were arrested at the intersection of Lake Ave. and Harms Rd. Their vehicle was pulled over after an officer observed the vehicle committing traffic violations. 

Both subjects were, according to the reports, found to have either a revoked or suspended driver's license and the two were taken into custody. Both subjects were then found to be in possession of heroin, reports state.

Heroin has been a growing concern in Wilmette, with the Wilmette Police having 24 cases relating to heroin in the past two years and four residents dying of heroin overdose in the last three years

The two men were both processed for the traffic offenses and possession of heroin and were held for bond court, according to Wilmette Police reports.
