Police: Wilmette Resident Received Death Threats Via Cell Phone

Burglary to Garage

A resident of the 1400 block of Forest Ave. reported that his garage was burglarized on March 11, Wilmette Police reports state.

On March 11, an officer observed that the street sign for Sheridan Rd. at the interesection with Greenwood was missing, police reports state. 

Criminal Damage

A resident of the 900 block of Green Bay Rd. reported that between the evening of March 9 and the morning of March 10, an offender(s) spray-painted graffiti on his house, Wilmette Police reports state.

Criminal Damage

The treasurer of the townhome association in the 1000 block of Linden Ave. reported that between the evening of March 9 and the morning of March 10, an unknown offender(s) damaged two spotlights in the common area of the buildings overnight, Wilmette Police reports state. He was reporting the incident for insurance purposes.

Disorderly Conduct

A resident of the 2400 block of Birchwood Ave. reported receiving death threats through his cell phone on March 14, police reports state.

Fraud

A Missouri resident reported that her debit card information was used for a $274.82 transaction at the Jewel location at 411 Green Bay Ave. on March 15, Wilmette Police reports state. 

Lost/Stolen

A resident of the 2500 block of Iroquois Ave. reported the loss/theft of his iPhone 5 on March 13, police reports state. 

Disturbance

An officer on patrol noted an intoxicated individual at the bus stop located at 3227 Lake Ave on March 15. The officer waited until he was picked up by a sober adult, police reports state. 

Drug Arrest

David Myles, 19, of Wilmette, is being charged with possession of cannabis, transportation of alcohol and various other traffic offenses, Wilmette Police reports state. He was pulled over in the 300 block of Central Ave. on March 15, according to reports.
