Police: Woman Arrested for Prostitution Warrant

Battery

Two visiting caretakers at a home on the 3500 block of Walnut St. got into a verbal and then a physical confrontation, Wilmette Police reports state. The incident happened on May 9.

Lost/Stolen Property

A victim reported losing her wallet at an unknown location in Evanston that serves adult beverages sometime between May 8 and May 10, police reports state. She reported it at the station for informational purposes only.

Outstanding Warrant

Officers responded to a complaint of localized street flooding from a pool service draining a swimming pool into the sewer, police reports state. While officers were questioning the foreman, it was discovered that he had a valid warrant out of Lee County, IL. The subject was placed under arrest, transported to the station, processed and was bonded out.

Prostitution Warrant Arrest

Nikkole A. Conway, 22, of Oakland California is being charged with failure to appear on a prostitution charge from Skokie Police, Wilmette Police reports state. She was pulled over at the intersection of 21st St. and Thornwood Ave. on May 11 for a minor traffic violation and it was discovered that she did not have a valid driver's license. Conway was placed under arrest and transported to the station.

Ordinance Violation

Benjamine Brooks, 21, of Forest Park and Robert Francisco, 49, of Crete IL were cited for solicitation without a permit, police reports state. The officers responded to the 200 block of Kilpatrick Ave. The subjects claimed to be soliciting work for completehomere.com.

Stalking

An ex-boyfriend of a resident on the 200 block of Pin Oak Rd. attempted to force his way into the victim's residence after following her home from work, Wilmette Police reports state. The offender was gone on the officers' arrival. The victim reported that the subject gained entry after the previous night via an unlocked balcony door. He left when she threatened to call the police. The offender damaged and removed outer rear sliding screen doors.

Fraud

A victim on the 1400 block of Gregory St. reported that two cash advances were made with his credit card without his knowledge, police reports state. The advances totaled $1800 and were done locally in Niles and Evanston.

Possession of Cannabis

Alexander Kanatzidis, 18, of Wilmette, James Breen, 18, of Wilmette, and Noah Bucksbaum, 18, of Glenview are being charged with possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia, police reports state. An officer stopped a vehicle at the intersection of 21st St. and Thornwood Ave. on May 11 for minor traffic violations and discovered cannabis, drug paraphernalia and a quantity of cash in the vehicle. The driver and two passengers were arrested, transported to the station, processed and released on bond.
