Burglary to Garage

An unlocked garage on the 1600 block of Walnut Ave. was entered overnight and $80, a bottle of Patron and 6 bottles of red wine were taken, police reports state.

A victim on the 3200 block of Old Glenview Rd. reported that unauthorized purchases in the amount of approximately $75,000 were made using a company credit card, police reports state. The report si for insurance purposes only.

Identity Theft

A victim on the 1600 block of Sheridan Rd. reported receiving a payment notice from Turbo Tax for filing of 2012 tax returns, police reports state. The victim has own tax preparer and did not use Turbo Tax to complete her returns.

Identity Theft

A victim on the 2200 block of Birchwood Ave. reported that an unknown offender(s) obtained the credit card number of the victim, according to police reports. The number was used in Texas.

Drug-related Charges

Jimmie Collins, 23, of Northfield is being charged with drug-related charges, according to Wilmette Police reports. On May 2, officers on patrol on the 100 block of Prairie Ave. observed two subjects parked in the alley. As they made contact, the officers observed a plastic baggie on the stomach of the driver. The baggie contained suspected cannabis. The driver was placed under arrest and a subsequent searc of the vehicle revealed additional cannabis, baggies marked ‘smellyproof’ and an electronic scale. The passenger was released without charges. The driver was transported to the station, processed and released on bond.
