Police: Women Charged With D.U.I. After Leaving Scene of Accident
The following arrest information was supplied by the Wilmette Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Theft
A resident on the 3000 block of Old Glenview Rd. reported that she either lost or had her cell phone stolen on Aug. 23.
Liquor Consumption
Officers conducted a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of the Wilmette Recreation Center on Aug. 24. Officers found 3 underage subjects consuming alcohol, police reports state. They were all issued citations and released to their parents.
Possession of Cannabis
Oliver James Posner, 23, of Wilmette received a local ordinance citation for possession of cannabis on Aug 25 after there was a complaint about loud music coming from a car in the alley that Posner was located in.
Soliciting Without a Permit
Charles Walker, 46, of Chicago is being charged with solicitation without a permit, police reports state. He was stopped on the 2200 block of Schiller Ave.
Driving Without a Valid License
Gabriel Gonzalez, 33, of Chicago is being charged with driving without a valid license and without insurance, police reports state. Gonzalez was involved in a traffic accident on the 100 block of Green Bay Rd.
Driving Under the Influence
Patricia Garza, 58, of Wilmette is being charged with driving under the influence, police reports state. Officers located a damaged vehicle on the 800 block of Chilton Ave. The corresponding damage was located on another vehicle driven by Garza. Garza was taken into custody for leaving the scene of an accident, which she denied happen.
