Possession of Cannabis, Suspended Driver's License

Suspended License

Richard C. Monahan, 64, of Evanston received a citation for driving with a suspended driver's license, according to Wilmette Police reports. He was pulled over on the 700 block of Skokie Blvd. on Feb. 12 when an officer conducted a traffic stop for a minor violation and determined that Monahan's license was suspended, Wilmette Police reports state. He was arrested, processed, issued citations and released on bond. 

Posession of Cannabis, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Joshua D. Enrenberg, 31, received a local ordinance citation for possesion of cannabis less than 10 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Wilmette Police reports. Enrenberg was pulled over for a minor traffic violation on Feb. 12 at the intersection of Skokie Blvd. and Old Orchard Rd. for a minor traffic violation. The officer detected the odor of cannabis in the vehicle, and Enrenberg relinquished a smoking pipe and 3 grams of cannabis, according to police. 

Possession of Cannabis, Posession of Drug Paraphernalia 

Martin Charles, 19, is being charged with possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia, according to Wilmette Police reports. A resident on the 1900 block of Lake St. reported that a neighbor was possibly smoking cannabis with some friends and making a lot of noise. Officers knocked on the door and when the resident opened the door, they detected the odor of cannabis. The resident admitted to smoking it and let the oficers into the condo where they located approximately 3 grams of cannabis and drug paraphernalia. The other 3 subjects were identified but not charged, Police reports state. 

Suspended Driver's License, No Insurance

Roberto Artega-Landaverde, 27, is being charged with driving with a suspended driver's license and driving with no insurance, according to Wilmette Police reports. Officers checked on a disabled vehicle in traffic, where they located Artega-Landaverde, reports state. He was processed and photographed and released on an I-bond. 

Suspended Driver's License, Outstanding Warrant 

Jose Martinez-Garcia, 30, of Chicago is being charged with driving with a suspended license after an officer stopped him for minor traffic infractions on the 1700 block of Wilmette Ave. on Feb. 14, Wilmette Police reports state.
