Possible Cougar Sighting in Northfield

A large cat-like animal was spotted on South Happ Road last Wednesday.

A Northfield resident reported a possible cougar sighting on South Happ Road in the morning hours of Sept. 12, according to a Northfield police report. 

Highland Park recently also received a report of seeing a large, tan, feline-type animal similar in stature to a cougar in the 100 block of South Lincoln Avenue.
