School Bus and Vehicle Crash at Sheridan and Elmwood

Five children were aboard the bus, and no injuries were reported.

A school bus and a vehicle collided at the intersection of Elmwood Rd. and Sheridan Rd. on Wednesday afternoon at 4:37 p.m.

The collision is very minor, with no injuries, Wilmette Police Chief Brian King said.

Both vehicles have been moved to the side, so there's no lane blockage, he noted.

Five children were on board the bus.

"It's a very minor crash," he said.
