Update: Alleged Bike Thieves Indicted

Chicago men charged by Wilmette and Winnetka police with stealing bicycles could face 17 years prison.

Two Chicago men charged with by Wilmette and Winnetka Police were indicted on three charges each of theft Friday in the Skokie Branch of Cook County Criminal Court. 

, 31, and Gilberto Torres, 53, were each formally charged with felonies that could lead to 17 years in jail if convicted and sentenced consecutively. Torres was also indicted for unlawful possession of a weapon. Original charges brought forth in June had . ()
