A man entered the Glencoe Public Safety Department and asked for directions to Carpentersville, stating he had been driving around lost for hours and had no money, police said. Officers determined the man had been drinking. He was apprehended when he drove away from the station and charged with DUI.
A Wilmette doorman reported receiving numerous phone calls throughout the night. The doorman says he has been receiving harassing calls like this for the past three or four years and on one particular night received more than 75 calls.
