Wilmette Blotter: Four DUI Arrests
The following information was supplied by the Wilmette police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
DUI
Aahlad S. Vadrevu, 19, of Wilmette was arrested for DUI at 3:15 a.m. Dec. 28 in the 2300 block of Glenview Road after he was stopped for speeding. He was also cited for illegal transportation of alcohol after a beer was found in the central console of his car.
Angelika M. Mlekicka, 22, of Chicago was arrested for felony DUI at 5:45 a.m. Dec. 31 at the intersection of Wilmette and Park avenues. She and her passengers were attempting to replace a tire on the car after hitting a median. When questioned by police she revealed that she does not have a license, though said she had been driving since age 16.

Thomas C. Downes, 68, of Chicago was arrested for aggravated DUI atut Street in Evanston. This is Downes's third DUI arrest. He was also cited for failing to use a turn signal.
Leonid Fedin, 23, of Glenview was arrested for DUI at 4:11 a.m. Dec. 18 at the intersection of Lake Avenue and Kaywood Lane. He was also charged with speeding, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a license on his person.

Suspended license
Leonel Flores, 27, of Chicago was arrested for driving on a suspended license and with an expired registration at 4:46 a.m. Jan. 1.
Kevin M. Lyon, 22, was arrested for driving on a suspended license at 2:03 p.m. Jan. 1 in the 1400 block of Lake Road.
