Wilmette Blotter: Three Bicycles Stolen

Residential burglary
Thirty pieces of silver flatware valued at $12,030 were stolen from a home in the 1700 block of Central Avenue between Nov. 18 and Dec. 24. The screen on a rear window had been pried open.

A brand new men's Scott 29 bicycle and a bicycle lock were stolen between 6:08 a.m. and 3:10 p.m. Jan. 3 at the Metra Station at 722 Green Bay Road. The loss is estimated at $930.
An unsecured $1,200 gray Trek 7.5 FX bicycle was stolen at around 2:14 p.m. Dec. 28 at Northshore Bank, 720 12th St.

A $1,000 black Mongoose mountain bike and its lock were stolen between 6:10 a.m. and 3:20 p.m. Dec. 28 from the Metra Station at 722 Green Bay Road.
A $300 iPhone was stolen from a table at Walker Bros. Pancake House between 2:45 and 3:20 p.m. Jan. 2.
Antique Christmas ornaments valued at $2,000 were stolen between Dec. 21 and Dec. 28 from an apartment in the 1100 block of Wilmette Avenue.
Identity theft
A resident of the 1500 block of Wilmette Avenue reported Dec. 28 that her Social Security number had been attached to the name of a woman with a Schaumburg address.
