Wilmette Blotter: Three DUIs and Two Drivers With Suspended Licenses

The following incidents were reported between Oct. 18 and 24, according to Wilmette police.

The Wilmette Police Department provided the following report. In all incidents where an arrest occurred, a charge is merely an accusation and not evidence of guilt.

Suspended license

Thomas L. Abraham, 37, of Palatine was arrested around 12:30 a.m. Oct. 21 at for driving with a suspended license and without car insurance.

Dennis Tlatenchi, 23, of Chicago was arrested around 9:45 p.m. Oct. 20 in the 4700 block of Menard Avenue for driving with a suspended license and without a front bumper.

DUI

Mayra Aguilar, 38, of Chicago was arrested for DUI around 5:45 p.m. Oct. 23 at the intersection of Hibbard Road and Lake Avenue after she was observed speeding and swerving between lanes. She was also charged with making an improper left turn, improper lane usage and driving without a license on her person.

Ciera Portillo, 19, of Round Lake Park, Fla. was arrested for DUI around 3:30 p.m. Oct. 23 on I-94 north of Willow Road after she was stopped for driving 77 mph in a 55 mph zone. She was also charged with speeding and driving without a license on her person.

Harry P. Jackson, 42, of Evanston was arrested for DUI around 3 a.m. Oct. 18 at the intersection of Central Avenue and Fourth Street. He was also charged with improper lane usage, illegal transportation of open alcohol and driving without a license on his person.
